Our Team
HISTORY
Founded by Ric Matthews, with a vision to support organisations, groups, and individuals in initiating, managing, and sustaining change
The Vision for Change
A core commitment that every change RMC supports is:
As Significant as Possible
Genuinely adding real value — freeing all available potential, and not simply implementing mechanistic shifts or “more of the same”.
As Smooth as Possible
Minimal disruption, distress, upheaval, delays, and waste in time, money, or effort — with minimal pushback.
As Sustainable as Possible
Securing commitment rather than mere compliance — maintaining momentum and delivering outcomes that are ongoing and enduring.
Our Approach
GROUNDED IN EXPERTISE ACROSS:
- Organisational and business best practices — strategy, priorities, structure, management, and growth
- Differences between For-Profit, Non-Profit, Government, Religious, and other organisations
- Psychological theories, models, and practices as applied to individuals, organisations, and communities
- The design and delivery of results-oriented education, interactive workshops, and training
- The management and optimisation of diversity in all its many forms
Deeply Personal & Individualistic
Understanding, engaging and supporting each unique individual
Wholistic
Taking account of the entire context and recognising the larger comprehensive entity to which the individual belongs
Systemic
Addressing the interplay between all components: individuals, structures, practices, and forces at work
PURPOSE
To help organisations and individuals unlock potential by providing:
- Interactive workshops and training for individuals introducing, leading, or supporting change within organisations
- Interactive workshops and training for individuals initiating, supporting, or coping with change in their personal lives or families
- Consulting for individuals, teams, or organisations wanting help with assessing circumstances, identifying challenges and opportunities, developing strategies, designing interventions, and implementing them
- Facilitated workshops for groups, families, and organisations to surface, explore, and address dynamics and patterns that affect their functioning
- Coaching, mentoring, or counselling for individuals wanting guidance in reviewing their progress, developing plans and actions, setting achievable goals and priorities, and implementing what they intend

SERVING THE CLIENT
Core Values
A fundamental desire to contribute to initiatives that focus on genuine enrichment of individual lives and the building of empowered individuals, families, groups, organisations, and communities.
A fundamental conviction that all change is grounded at the level of the individual. Change happens person by person. Ultimately, the only thing anyone can change is themselves — so it’s all about working with individuals inside and outside of organisations. At the same time, individual choices and actions are extensively affected by the bigger context in which they function, and by the interplay of components within that context.
- Every individual has deep intrinsic worth and beauty — and a significant contribution to make to the wider community
- Every group of people (family, organisation, community) can and does serve the greater good — and has rich potential to add more value than it currently does
- Every individual, organisation, and community has options, resources, and opportunities that often tend to be missed in the day-to-day struggle to survive and in the established patterns of daily life
